When life takes a turn we didn't expect, disappointments may include- a death in the family, lack of cash during the holidays, loss of job/demotion, a relationship that didn't work out, a broken engagement, a sick child, the diagnosis of a diseases, worrying for somebody else’s life, a worldly crisis, mistreatment, and many other things.
Throughout it all, being intentional about serving The Lord is key. Below are some reasons on why you should continue to trust God if you have any doubts. I pray that this post bless you and you continue to encourage yourself in The Lord.
1. He is God, not Man
Scripture to reflect on: Numbers 23:19 “God is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man that he should repent…” Man does not always have full control of his circumstances to keep his words all the time but God does
2. Nothing is too difficult or hard for him
Scripture to reflect on: Jeremiah 32:27 says, “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?” No matter what your case or situation may be God can and will handle it if you trust and allow Him to take over the case.
3. He is always with you and will never stop loving you
Scripture to reflect on: Psalm 56:8 tells us that God not only sees our tears, he collects them. That means my hurt and yours is more precious to him than we can imagine. That kind of response from him means he's trustworthy to work our situation out for our best.
4. God is capable of managing your life much better than you are
Scripture to reflect on: Isaiah 55:8-9 - "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
