1) It can help clear your mind and organize your thoughts 2) It gives your record of past events and events to look forward to 3) It makes you more committed 4) you gain a sense of achievement when things are completed off your list!
I'm not going to spend time elaborating over those 4 things. Just know that writing things down can really help you create more structure in your life and help organize your thoughts! We must be intentional about getting things done and avoid procrastination.
If you read my last blog, I did the top 5 ways to live a better life.
As a quick recap, the things I listed included:
1. Stop complaining
2. Don't be jealous
3. Change things
4. Don't confuse pleasure with happiness
5. Take care of your mind
I went into details for each point listed above. Link here: http://ashleebee.weebly.com/blog/ashlees-5-ways-to-start-living-a-better-life
In closing, one thing that has stuck with me all yesterday was mentioned in my women's bible study that Kathesis recapped. Mrs. Joyce stated, "We have exactly what we need...but we are sometimes so cluttered that we cant get to what God has for us! I urge you sisters...declutter your lives! We need to write down our schedules, make time for God, make time for self, and remember to BREATHE!"
Have a blessed week and thanks for reading my blog!
