Have you ever wanted to do something that was inspiring or just something new that would benefit you in life? Ever have people just outright doubt you? Do NOT be surprised when this happens. If you feel in your heart you really want to do something, then do it! Follow your dreams
4 reasons why people will doubt you:
1. They don't like your dream or goals at all - One of the biggest mistakes in life is to bury your unhappiness in order to make other people happy. Once you reach adulthood, you pretty much have to start making your own decisions about certain things in life. Don't expect all your family members and friends to be excited about your ideas and vision. As long as your dreams don't hurt anyone, chase after them!
2. Some people actually don't want you to succeed- Also known as the "HATERS" . Some people truly don't want you to follow your dreams because if you're happier, a little part of them may be miserable or upset with you. At the end of the day, remember that all haters are unhappy with their life. Haters are negative people, so those who say they're your true friends and don't get the slightest bit of excited when you share your passionate dreams and goals in life are probably a secret hater.
3. You are trying to achieve faster than them- Some people may seriously doubt you because they think you cannot do what you are trying to achieve. Everything in life isn't a competition. You would be surprised on how many people get mad because you got your dream career, home, or car before them. You will have many more dreams in life you have to fulfill, don't let people negativity and doubt get in your way. Secretly, some people are just jealous because they want to catch up on your level. Keep on prospering and following your dreams.
4. They think they are helping you- This happens often with family members and friends. Whether it could be from keeping you from embarrassment, disappointment, wasted time, wasted money, etc... some people will think your ideas are unrealistic or stupid. Keep in mind that some people do have our best interest, but if it's really a dream of yours and you feel confident about it, talk to God/pray about it, and follow through with what you have planned.
Conclusion: Don't expect everyone to support your dreams. Use criticism and doubt as motivation. I had someone doubt me today and I immediately thanked God! I've already claimed in advance I'm going to fulfill my goal and no one is going to deter me from it.
